Ningbo expands parallel-import vehicle portfolio

From June to October, the city handled a total of 6,679 parallel-import vehicles, up 10.7 percent year-on-year, official data show. 

Unlike traditional imports, the parallel-import scheme allows local auto dealers to directly purchase vehicles from the foreign market, and prices for parallel-import automobiles are lower than dealers authorized by the automaker.
