The Ningbo (Qianyang) Livestreaming Center, the largest of its kind in the city, was put into trial operation on Jan 28, according to local media reports. 

Situated in the Qianyang Economic Development Zone, the facility is expected to fuel the growth of livestreaming e-commerce in the city, which in recent years has emerged as a new engine to facilitate the nation's consumption upgrade.

Spanning about 8,500 square meters, the center consists of a product selection base, 22 broadcast rooms and studios, as well as numerous multi-functional road show halls and dressing rooms.

Based on the city's strengths in the manufacturing sector and supply chain, the center is set to provide one-stop services related to livestreaming e-commerce, from incubation to planning to live broadcasting and promotion, said a person in charge of the facility.
