Ningbo holds solo exhibition for Tu Youyou

A long-term exhibition about Nobel Prize winner Tu Youyou started at the Ningbo Museum of Education in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province on Feb 4, local media reported.

The exhibition showcases her study experience, accolades, discovery of artemisinin, and replies to letters by the alumni association of her former school Xiaoshi High School.

Born in Ningbo, Tu is a Chinese pharmaceutical chemist and malariologist. In 2015, she received the Nobel Prize in Medicine for her discovery of artemisinin, which has saved millions of lives.
