Ningbo to host three China-CEEC cooperation events

A plan for China-CEEC cooperation in 2021 was unveiled after the China-Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) Summit which was held via video link in Beijing on Feb 9.

According to the plan, Ningbo in East China's Zhejiang province has been designated the host city for three events this year, namely the China-CEEC Expo, the China-CEEC Ministerial Meeting on Promoting Trade and Economic Cooperation and the China-CEEC Mayors Forum.

Trade between China and CEE countries today is 85 percent higher than nine years ago, with China-CEEC trade volume exceeding $100 billion for the first time in 2020. The number of mutual tourist visits has grown by nearly five times.
