Ningbo enterprises dazzle at consumer goods expo in Hainan

Two enterprises from Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province are attending the first China International Consumer Products Expo, which opened in Haikou, capital city of Hainan province on May 6.

Slated to run through May 10, the event gathered nearly 1,500 enterprises from around 70 countries and regions. Covering an exhibition space of 80,000 square meters, the inaugural expo, which is co-organized by the Ministry of Commerce and the Hainan provincial government, has become the largest boutique exhibition in the Asia-Pacific.

A total of 17 enterprises and seven importing platforms from Zhejiang province debuted at the expo, among which are two Ningbo companies - garment brand Youngor and Ningbo Leadgo E-commerce Co Ltd.

Youngor, founded in 1979, is a textile and garment leader in the domestic market with a current brand value of 25.8 billion yuan ($3.97 billion).

Leadgo sells products including food, maternal and baby products, cosmetics and household products on cross-border e-commerce platforms. In 2020, the company's annual output was valued at 4.31 billion yuan.

The company has also won numerous honorary titles such as Zhejiang Key Importing Platform and Ningbo Demonstration E-commerce Enterprise.
