China and five Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC) launched a new round of dialogue to enhance cooperation in e-commerce at a forum held in Ningbo on June 8, an important event of the second China-CEEC Expo & International Consumer Goods Fair.

China, along with Albania, Hungary, Serbia, Montenegro, and Slovenia, will explore new cooperation opportunities and share in benefits brought about by the digital economy.

In recent years, Ningbo's convenient port logistics, intelligent customs clearance, and favorable business environment have helped numerous CEEC-made products enter the Chinese market.

To date, cross-border e-commerce traders in the city have placed 3.8 million orders for CEEC-made products worth 720 million yuan ($112.58 million).

This year, these traders have placed 778,000 orders worth 150 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 31 percent.
