Seven enterprises from Ningbo recently made the list of national key enterprises and projects for exporting domestic culture.

The number accounted for nearly one third of the total in East China's Zhejiang province.

The list was jointly released by the Ministry of Commerce, the Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television.

The selected enterprises from Ningbo are all major cultural enterprises with strong independent innovation capabilities.

One of the enterprises is Dafeng Industrial Co Ltd, a leading integrated solutions provider for the cultural and sports industry in China.

The selection of national key culture export companies and projects is a move by the central government to guide domestic cultural companies to explore international markets and build cultural trade brands, according to an official from the Ningbo municipal bureau of commerce.

The list indicates that Ningbo has outstanding advantages in the field of cultural export, the official added.

He also said that the city will continue to create a good environment for cultural enterprises to carry out foreign trade and investment and help them increase the supply of excellent cultural products and services.
