Xiangshan builds park to celebrate Asian Games

In celebration of the upcoming Asian Games, which will be held in Hangzhou in September, an Asian Games theme park is being built in Xiangshan county, Ningbo.

The park, focusing on the environment, health, fashion and culture, will include light shows, a beach, greenery, sports-themed statues and a 2,000-meter walking trail.

It is intended to offer residents a place to exercise while enjoying the beautiful landscapes.

The park, located at Damu Bay in Xiangshan, is being transformed from a greenbelt. Construction started in March and is expected to be completed in June. Investment in the project totals more than 16 million yuan ($2.5 million).
