A parallel session of the 2022 Zhejiang-Taiwan Cooperation Week was held in Ningbo, Zhejiang province July 20.

The conference was attended by nearly 100 people, including experts and business leaders from Ningbo and Taiwan.

Agreements for nine investment projects worth 4.8 billion yuan were made between Ningbo and Taiwan businesses on the sidelines of the conference. These projects are related to areas including green petrochemical, financial service and e-commerce.

Since its inception in 2016, the Zhejiang-Taiwan Cooperation Week's parallel session in Ningbo has witnessed the signing of 45 Taiwan-funded projects with a combined value of over 25 billion yuan.

The event has become an important platform to strengthen trade and economic cooperation between Ningbo and Taiwan and facilitate cross-Straits integrated development, said a local official.
