2 companies listed among top 100 digital trade enterprise list

Two companies from Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province recently made the 2022 list of the top 100 digital trade enterprises in China released by CCID Consulting, a firm affiliated with a think tank under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. 

The list was unveiled on the sidelines of the inaugural Global Digital Trade Expo, which was staged in Hangzhou, capital city of Zhejiang, from Dec 11 to 14.

The two listed companies from Ningbo are Shimaotong and Aosom E-commerce, which were ranked 52nd and 78th respectively.

An international trade service provider, Shimaotong has to date offered services for $10 billion worth of imports and exports for over 20,000 customers.

Aosom is a cross-border e-commerce company specializing in the exports of products related to home, outdoor activities, sports, health and pets. The company has set up subsidiaries in seven countries and built more than 30 overseas warehouses, selling products made in China to more than 10 countries around the world.

In the first 10 months of this year, Ningbo’s digital trade amounted to 190.9 billion yuan ($27.27 billion), 90 percent of which were achieved by cross-border e-commerce, official statistics show.
