Ningbo legislature's annual meeting commences

The second session of the sixteenth Ningbo Municipal People's Congress opened in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province on Dec 26, local media reported.

Peng Jiaxue, Party chief of Ningbo, acted as the meeting's executive chairman.

The main task of the congress is to elect deputies from the city to the 14th Zhejiang Provincial People's Congress. Three hundred and sixty-five deputies were present at the event.
