Ningbo ranks high nationwide in intl communication influence

Ningbo in East China's Zhejiang province was listed among the four-star cities in China in terms of international communication influence in 2022, according to a report recently released by Reference News and Xinhua News Agency.
The four-star level is the third highest level in the grading system for a city's international communication influence.
Beijing and Shanghai took the top two slots, while Chengdu, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Shenzhen, Suzhou and Wuhan were rated as five-star.
Ningbo, along with cities, including Changsha, Chongqing, Fuzhou, Haikou, Kunming, Qingdao, Tianjin and Wuxi, was rated as four-star.
Ningbo was also recognized as "a leading city in the cultural and tourism reputation". This is the second time in a row that the city has won the honor.
The city has showed outstanding performances in the operation of overseas social media platforms, the report said.
