Zhejiang to develop industries of the future

Authorities in East China's Zhejiang province released a series of guidelines to develop and bolster the nine industries of the future.

The nine industries of the future are: future networks, metaverse, aerospace information, bionic robots, synthetic biology, power storage, hydrogen green energy, cutting-edge new materials and flexible electronics.

The guidelines aim to help Zhejiang companies create globally competitive innovations by the end of 2035, create five groups of international public patent pools for future industries, cultivate more than five enterprises future industries with global influence, and build more than five future industrial clusters with a scale of more than 100 billion yuan ($14.42 billion).
