Ningbo in East China's Zhejiang province came in seventh on the 2022 list of the top 10 Chinese industrial hubs, according to a recent report.

The list was made based on industrial added value created by cities in the nation in 2022.

Shenzhen, Shanghai and Suzhou, all of which have an industrial added value of more than 1 trillion yuan ($145.22 billion), held on to the top three places, followed by Chongqing, Guangzhou, Foshan, Ningbo, Wuxi, Dongguan and Quanzhou.

Except Chongqing, all the other cities in the top 10 list are from coastal areas in China.

Four of the cites are from Guangdong province – Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Foshan and Dongguan – and two are from Jiangsu province - Suzhou and Wuxi.

Ningbo's industrial added value expanded 3.3 percent year-on-year to 668.17 billion yuan in 2022, official statistics show.
