Immersive game to be launched in Ningbo

In celebration of the upcoming Hangzhou Asian Games, Ningbo's first immersive interactive game - Cross-City Race "Discover Ningbo" - is open for registration and is set to officially launch on June 17.

The game, which will last until July 30, integrates online mobile and authentic real scenes. Using a WeChat mini program, players will be guided to real places in Ningbo and complete the corresponding tasks for each level.

The first 4,000 people to register for the game will be rewarded various items such as clothes, tangyuan, milk, and amusement park tickets. After completing tasks for each level, players will receive digital coupons. Those who finish the whole game will be awarded a raffle code and have the chance to win items such as cars, pianos, appliances, and mobile phones. 

The first game route will link six landmarks in the city, including the Ningbo Library, Ningbo Gallery, Tianyi Sqaure, Drum Tower, and Tianyige Museum. It will involve education on culture, tourism, history, geography, and literature.

The launch ceremony is scheduled to be held on June 17. Celebrities, including actor Zheng Kai and sports champions Guan Chenchen and Liu Yanhan, will attend the first round of the game that day. It will be livestreamed through online platforms.
