As the 19th Asian Games approaches its 100-day countdown, the Xiangshan Asian Games Sailing Center, which will host the sailing competitions for the Games, held a magnificent gala to celebrate the event.
The gala treated audiences to a dazzling array of performances, including singing, dancing, pipa (a four-stringed lute) playing, and sports fashion displays.
The splendid evening started with thundering drums and enthusiastic cheers, showcasing Ningbo's evolution from an ancient port on the Maritime Silk Road to a modern city now welcoming the era of the Asian Games.
Yan Xiaoping, the director of the gala, stated that 95 percent of the show is original, and more than 70 percent of the cast and crew are local extras, such as fishermen and students, which embodies the spirit of the 19th Asian Games, encouraging all to participate and share.
The coastal county of Xiangshan in Ningbo, which will host the Games' sailing, sailboard, and beach volleyball events, is fully prepared to provide exceptional facilities and experiences for all athletes and spectators.
