Volunteer service stations open for Games

With the approach of the 19th Asian Games, around 800 volunteer service stations have opened across Ningbo, Zhejiang province.
According to local authorities, 175 core stations are located in key areas, such as competition venues and transportation hubs, while more than 630 service stations are located in places such as shopping malls and residential communities.
Volunteers are working at the stations, offering services related to translation, medicine, and information dissemination.
Meanwhile, a variety of events have been launched across the city to welcome the Games.
Volunteers in Jiangbei and Zhenhai districts have provided fitness guidance, health counseling, and tourism services for locals. Beilun and Yinzhou districts have hosted running relays to celebrate the upcoming sporting gala. Haishu district has offered services for blind residents. And Xiangshan county has launched weekly volunteer services for locals.
As of the end of August, over 40,000 volunteer events had been held, serving nearly 500,000 people in total.
