The five-day 2023 Zhejiang Agricultural Expo came to a close on Dec 11.

"The yogurt is sold out. Look, the freezer is empty." At noon on Dec 11, the freezer at the booth of Yiming Fresh Milk in Hall 1B of the Expo Center was already empty, with only a dozen bottles of milk left on the table.

Miss Hou, who worked at the booth, said that more than 300 cups of yogurt brought from the Hangzhou base were sold out that morning, and it has been the same story every day during the five-day agricultural expo.

"It's too popular," she said.

There were nearly 1,700 exhibitors and about 14,000 types of products exhibited at this year's agricultural expo.

A total of 254,500 people visited the exhibition during the five days, generating a cumulative 189.16 million yuan ($26.37 million) in on-site transactions, setting new records for both in-person attendance and total transactions, official statistics show.

In addition, 711 purchase contracts were signed with a total contract amount of 1,083.53 million yuan.

The online agricultural expo platform attracted more than 15,000 products from over 1,500 exhibitors and over one million participants, generating more than 12 million yuan in online transactions.
