The draw for the 2024 Badminton Asia Championships, slated to take place in Ningbo, Zhejiang province from April 9 to 14, was held on March 26, unveiling the matchups for the eagerly awaited tournament.

Featuring representation in all five categories of competition, the Chinese badminton team is preparing for participation across the board in the championship. Wang Chang, a rising badminton sensation from Ningbo, and his partner Liang Weikeng are poised to take on a formidable Indian duo in the opening round.

The prestigious Badminton Asia Championships holds the distinction of being a Badminton World Federation (BWF) Super 1000 event, providing players with an opportunity to secure crucial world ranking points. This year's edition serves as the ultimate qualifying event for Asian badminton players aiming to secure berths in the upcoming Paris Olympics.

The tournament will encompass competitions in men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles, with approximately 320 athletes from 28 countries and regions set to participate.
