Ningbo, Zhejiang province has kicked off its monthly "Ningbo City Culture Menu" with an exciting lineup of cultural events, aiming to enrich the cultural lives of both residents and visitors in Ningbo.

The comprehensive calendar for July, which was launched on June 27, showcases the city's rich arts, performances, exhibitions, and reading activities.

Renowned actor Chen Peisi will star in Interrupted Dream at the Ningbo Cultural Plaza Grand Theater. Music enthusiasts can also look forward to performances by violinist Lyu Siqing, musicals like The Flowers for Algernon, and large-scale interactive stage shows tailored to children. Additionally, traditional opera performances of Yu and Yue dramas will be staged at the Ningbo Yifu Theater.

Museums in Ningbo will also be buzzing with exciting exhibitions, which will run from early July to October.

Complementing the vibrant cultural scene, Ningbo will also host various community events, including folk customs activities at the Haishu District Intangible Cultural Heritage Nantang Museum every Saturday and Sunday.

In addition, the city will showcase its creative talent through original music, dance, and opera competitions. For food lovers, the "Xikou Town 10th Peach King Competition" will take place in Fenghua district, offering a taste of Ningbo's delicious peaches.

The "Ningbo City Culture Menu" has also dedicated a special edition to encouraging parents to read with their children. This special edition highlights reading events, workshops, and cultural exhibitions centered around classic literature, aimed at fostering stronger family bonds and cultivating a love for reading among children.
