A heartwarming celebration unfolded in Ningbo, Zhejiang province, on Sept 25, as 64 elderly couples gathered to commemorate their golden and diamond wedding anniversaries.

This joyous occasion marked the 26th consecutive year that Zhaobaoshan subdistrict in the city’s Zhenhai district has organized a special photo shoot to honor its senior citizens' enduring love.

To make the occasion even more memorable, the scene was set to resemble the couples' youthful days, complete with vintage props that evoked a bygone era. It was as if time had been reversed, allowing them to relive those precious moments once again.

One particularly emotional moment came from 74-year-old He Han’e, who expressed her gratitude for finally fulfilling a lifelong dream of having a wedding photo taken in a red dress.

To add a touch of elegance and tradition, a skilled calligrapher was invited to the event. He gifted each couple with a personalized message of blessing, written in strokes of ink. Words like "eternal love", "happiness forever", and "longevity and prosperity" adorned the walls, bringing a sense of warmth to the occasion.

The event kicked off Zhaobaoshan subdistrict's "Respect for the Elderly Month", promising more activities to honor and uplift the senior residents of the community.
