Six international seafarers from France and Myanmar disembarked from the ship CMA CGM Palais Royal to explore Beilun, Ningbo on Dec 4. Their visit, organized by the Meishan Border Inspection and the Beilun Media Center, aimed to bridge the cultural gap between seafarers and the local community.
The seafarers' first stop was Haibo Group, where they admired high-tech fishing rods, reels, and thrusters. Through detailed explanations from border inspection officers about traditional Chinese fishing culture, they gained insights into the craftsmanship and innovation of Chinese manufacturing.
Lwin Min Thant from Myanmar expressed his gratitude, saying, "Today's activity enriched our six-month voyage. We are very grateful!" Mathieu from France, who visited China 20 years ago, was impressed by Ningbo's rapid development.
This travel initiative in Beilun is a meaningful effort to promote Chinese culture and highlight Ningbo's unique qualities.
