Ningbo Port's auto exports exceed 20b yuan in Jan-Nov

Ningbo Customs reported that in the first 11 months of the year, over 224,000 cars were exported from Ningbo Port, valued at more than 21.93 billion yuan ($3 billion), year-on-year increases of 42.2 percent and 19.8 percent, respectively.
The UAE and Belarus were key markets, with exports of 4.11 billion yuan and 1.98 billion yuan, respectively.
Cao Wenqing, deputy director of logistics monitoring at Meishan Customs, highlighted measures like pre-declaration and direct loading upon arrival to streamline exports. The implementation of a one-stop regulatory model has transformed the export process, allowing companies to choose flexible shipping methods and ensuring seamless customs clearance.
Ningbo has developed a globally competitive automotive industry cluster, attracting numerous companies and driving the coordinated development of related industries. With its strategic location and extensive shipping routes, Meishan Port has seen increased activity, especially towards the end of the year.
Ningbo Meishan Port's export routes now cover regions including the Far East, Middle East, North America, South America, Europe, and Southeast Asia. Ningbo Customs will continue to optimize services and implement innovative policies to support Chinese automobiles in capturing global market opportunities.
