Xie Caihua, a celebrated folk artist and the Zhejiang provincial inheritor of Xiangshan paper-cutting, has unveiled a remarkable 30-meter-long artwork titled "Hundred Snakes" to mark the Year of the Snake.

Using only scissors and paper, Xie transforms simple materials into intricate creations, crafting each snake without a single draft. This masterpiece features 100 lifelike paper snakes, each uniquely designed. Some coil gracefully, while others stretch and twist, showcasing a dynamic range of movement and expression.

Through this awe-inspiring creation, Xie pays homage to the artistry of the past while ushering in a year of renewal and prosperity.
