The 4th China-CEEC Expo and International Consumer Goods Fair is set to open on May 22 in Ningbo, Zhejiang, aiming to strengthen ties between China and Central and Eastern European countries (CEEC).
The event, hosted by the Zhejiang Provincial Government and the Ministry of Commerce, will feature over 400 exhibitors with expanded exhibition space and numerous brand debuts. Attendees can see innovations such as humanoid robots from Unitree Robotics, a Hungarian VR park, and Slovak flight simulation systems. Slovenia and Slovakia, the guest countries of honor, will offer immersive cultural displays through virtual reality and interactive exhibits.
Key trade and economic initiatives include signing events for CEEC product purchases and live-streamed tours designed to boost brand visibility and consumer interest. The expo will also have curated exhibitions of export-quality goods, such as smart appliances and handicrafts, to help businesses expand locally.
This year, the expo will also invite participation from European countries such as France, Germany, and Italy, broadening its reach and fostering global trade.
Notable conferences, such as the China-CEEC Joint Chamber of Commerce Meeting, will promote collaboration.
Other highlights include the first CEEC sailing competition, culinary exchanges celebrating CEEC and Zhejiang cuisines, and programs connecting young tech talent to growth opportunities.
