Graeme Parker, a global hoof care influencer has recently kicked off his China tour in Ningbo, Zhejiang province, joining forces with a top-tier local equipment manufacturer.
Parker, better known online as The Hoof GP, is a professional hoof trimmer from southwest Scotland with over 8 million followers across social media platforms and more than 750 million views. His videos on precise and methodical hoof trimming procedures have gained widespread popularity for the educational and therapeutic appeal.
His visit to Ningbo centers on collaboration with Kewei (Ningbo) International Trade Co Ltd (KVK), a company based in the city's Zhenhai district. Founded in 2015, KVK has rapidly grown into a prominent player in the field of hoof trimming equipment, known for its high-precision machinery and complementary tools. The company's products are now distributed in more than 50 countries across Europe, Asia, North America, and South America. In the first quarter of 2025, KVK recorded a revenue of 6 million yuan ($827,683), marking a strong year-on-year increase.
"He is a great hoof trimmer, and we are a top-level equipment provider — this partnership represents a strong alignment of expertise," said Mao Liya, a representative of the company.
Parker noted that he chose Ningbo as the first stop of his China tour because of his trust in KVK and appreciation for their invitation. He said he had been using KVK's trimming machine for four years and found it to be both more gentle on dairy cows and more efficient for hoof trimmers.
According to Mao, the company and Parker have reached a long-term cooperation agreement. KVK will assist him in launching official accounts on Chinese platforms such as WeChat and Bilibili to publish his day-to-day work. She emphasized that Parker's professional reputation and global fan base would help enhance KVK's international brand visibility, while domestic social channels would allow him to build a stronger following in China and advocate animal welfare.
