Abu Dhabi and China's eastern Zhejiang province are deepening their collaboration across key logistics sectors, including shipping routes, cargo handling, and roll-on/roll-off (Ro-Ro) transport.

In a new milestone for China–UAE logistics cooperation, the "Zakher," a new-generation dual-fuel car carrier from AD Ports Group's subsidiary United Global Ro-Ro Carriers, set off on its maiden voyage from Ningbo-Zhoushan Port on the afternoon of July 3, carrying nearly 4,000 vehicles made in China.

The "Zakher" is the second 7,000-vehicle-capacity dual-fuel car carrier deployed by UGR. Equipped with a clean energy propulsion system, the vessel significantly reduces emissions of sulfur oxides, nitrogen oxides, and particulate matter compared with conventional fuel-powered ships.
