At the naming and maiden voyage ceremony for the "Zakher," Zhejiang Provincial Seaport Investment & Operation Group and AD Ports Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Under the agreement, the two parties will deepen collaboration in port operations, shipping services, smart port development, and green energy applications, aiming to build a long-term, mutually beneficial partnership.
Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, managing director and Group CEO of AD Ports Group, described the agreement as an important step in building a global smart and connected automotive logistics corridor. He noted that the deployment of the new ro-ro vessel would inject fresh momentum into linking Chinese manufacturing with markets across the Middle East, the Mediterranean, and Africa.
