Ningbo launches scenic lines to Taizhou, Shanghai

Ningbo, Zhejiang province, expands its scenic shuttle network with new weekend routes to Taizhou and Shanghai.

Starting Aug 8, Ningbo's popular "Scenic Shuttle" service is adding two new weekend routes, offering direct transportation to Shanghai's Bund and Tiantai's Guoqing Temple at affordable prices, according to Ningbo Highway Transportation Group.

The Taizhou route will operate every Saturday and Sunday beginning Aug 9. Buses depart from Ningbo Sports Center at 6:40 am, stop at the Gulou Petroleum Building at 7:10 am, and arrive at Guoqing Temple after a three-hour journey. Return trips leave the temple at 2:30 pm. Tickets start at 39.9 yuan ($5.55) one-way or 69.9 yuan round-trip.

The Shanghai's Bund service starts Aug 8 and runs every Friday to Sunday. Buses depart at 12:30 pm from Ningbo Sports Center, stopping at Gulou before heading directly to the Bund Tourism Center near Yuyuan Garden. The return bus departs at 8:30 pm. A one-way ticket is 79 yuan, while a round-trip ticket costs 99 yuan.

Existing services to Hangzhou's West Lake and Lingyin Temple have also been optimized, with more weekday and weekend return options.
