Ningbo: China's ancient intl logistics hub

During the Song and Yuan dynasties (1271–1368), Ningbo was a lively part of the Maritime Silk Road, renowned for celadon, silk, and tea destined for far-off lands. It was a center for cultural and craftsmanship exchanges, as well as navigation and shipbuilding, which extended China's trade and cultural reach across the seas.
