Ningbo hosted the National China in Children's Voices choral event on Aug 20. Sixteen children's choirs from across China gathered to perform songs celebrating the Communist Party of China, the nation, Chinese culture, and their hometowns.

The event opened with Sing from My Heart, a collective performance symbolizing unity and heartfelt patriotism. It unfolded in three themed chapters, with each segment highlighting values such as revolutionary spirit, cultural heritage, and youthful ambition.

Jiaxing's Xiaolinghua Choir delivered a moving rendition of Torchlight, followed by classics like Nanniwan and We Are the Successors of Communism.

A major moment came from Ningbo Haishu District Choir, performing the locally composed In the Middle of the Sea, a tribute to modern builders and national pride.

The finale, China in Children's Voices, echoed with powerful harmonies — expressing love for the Party, the country, and socialism through the voices of China's future.

Director Jiang Chenya emphasized the event's tailored design, incorporating local elements like Ningbo's tangyuan (glutinous rice balls) and port culture.
