2025 Ningbo Open promises upgraded experience
Ningbo, Zhejiang province, is set to host the 2025 AUX Ningbo Open from Oct 11 to 19, promising fans an immersive international tennis experience.
As an important stop on the 2025 China season, the tournament will take place at the Ningbo (Yinzhou) Tennis Center, featuring a mix of high-level competition, fan activities, and lifestyle events.
The competition will use a dual-court format, with a renovated central stadium and an expanded grandstand court operating simultaneously, each with separate ticketing. Spectators holding tickets for a specific court will have full access to all matches on that court for the day. Both courts will offer upgraded visual and audio effects, with engaging intermissions to enhance the fan experience.
Off the court, the tournament will introduce a range of interactive opportunities. Fans eligible for the Autograph Island can meet players for photos and signatures, while additional autograph sessions provide multiple chances for close interaction. Select fans will also have the opportunity to observe players' training sessions.
Apart from tennis, the event will host a lifestyle festival blending local culture with contemporary trends. The festival includes merchandise shops, interactive play areas, and themed markets, offering a multi-dimensional experience for attendees.
The tournament's structure includes a 28-player women's singles main draw, a 24-player qualifying draw, and a 16-team doubles draw. Qualifying matches will run from Oct 11 to 12, followed by the main draw starting on Oct 13, which will be marked by an opening ceremony. The finals are scheduled for Oct 19.
