Much-loved book fair to take place in Ningbo

Ningbo will host the 10th Zhejiang Book Fair, alongside the Ningbo Maritime Silk Road Culture and Tourism Expo and the Ningbo International Tourism Exhibition from Oct 24 to 26.

The event will be staged at the Ningbo International Conference and Exhibition Center, with over 16,000 square meters of exhibition space.

Marking a decade of growth, the Zhejiang Book Fair has become one of China's most significant regional literary events. Since its launch in 2015, it has drawn national attention, permanently settling in Ningbo.

Each year, the fair draws celebrated authors — figures like Yi Zhongtian, Feng Jicai and Ma Boyong — whose presence transforms the event into an active dialogue between readers and writers. These face-to-face encounters offer more than just book signings, making the fair a hub for lively cultural exchanges.

The fair's growing popularity — drawing over 120,000 visitors and generating more than 2 billion yuan ($279 million) in sales in the previous edition — reflects its deep connection with the public and its role as a much-loved cultural event.
