The 15th Smart City and Intelligent Economy Expo started on Sept 5 in Ningbo, drawing a group from consulates in Shanghai — including Venezuela, the Netherlands, and Nigeria. Their visit focused on China Unicom's display, where AI infrastructure and global solutions sparked lots of talks.

China Unicom, a co-organizer of the event, showed new things in AI, tech, and industry. At the AI area for global businesses, diplomats liked China Unicom's global network and 5G smart factory work. One delegate said the company's work gives "valuable reference for advancing industrial modernization and digital economies".

China Unicom's global reach includes over 60 international underwater cables, spanning the Earth 17 times, and a strong network. It offers dedicated lines, SD-WAN, cloud networking, and AI data centers.

China Unicom's international solutions are empowering Ningbo's industry leaders. For Shenzhou International Group, it gives dedicated lines to Cambodia and Vietnam, global video surveillance and customer service via Unicom Cloud.

It also offers 5G AGV scheduling and localized data processing. For Boway, it provides secure, low-latency circuits connecting Ningbo with Vietnam and Germany, ensuring smooth ERP and MES work for digital factory operations overseas.
