The Ningbo Chamber of Commerce in Brazil was established on Oct 11, creating a new hub for Ningbo natives and businesses in Brazil.

The inauguration took place at Sao Paulo's Champs Elysees Hotel, where a compact Ningbo-themed exhibition showcased calligraphy, seal carvings, silk crafts, and porcelain. The display offered an intimate glimpse of Ningbo's cultural heritage — from historic landmarks to maritime traditions — allowing Ningbo natives and guests to reconnect with familiar elements of their hometown. Many paused to take photos, appreciating the blend of tradition and artistry.

Traditional lion dances and drumming enlivened the event, highlighting the vibrancy of Chinese culture and creating a festive atmosphere.

Chamber President Sun Zongmin emphasized that the organization aims to provide a warm home for Ningbo natives in Brazil, noting that the exhibition makes hometown culture “visible and tangible” to all visitors.

Wang Haixia, head of Brave Import and Export Company, praised the display as providing a unique link to Ningbo for those who grew up in the city, describing it as "particularly touching and exciting" to see familiar elements like Tianfeng Tower and Ningbo Zhoushan Port presented in the space.

The exhibition will continue at an overseas warehouse owned by Zhejiang Hengwo Cross-border E-commerce Company, serving as a long-term cultural window for the public and reinforcing the connection between Chinese and Brazilian communities.
