Ningbo set for 8th CIIE
The 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE) will take place in Shanghai from Nov 5 to 10, welcoming participants from around the world. Ningbo's delegation, featuring over 2,000 enterprises and more than 7,000 registered buyers, is ready to seize new opportunities.
Ningbo's procurement will span a wide range of sectors, including services, automobiles, technical equipment, consumer goods, medical devices, and healthcare, as well as food and agricultural products.
To maximize engagement, the city will host five supporting events during the expo, such as a matchmaking meeting, designed to expand imports, strengthen consumption platforms, and attract investment.

A familiar highlight is the city's Central and Eastern European Countries' Products Permanent Pavilion, a full-time participant since the inaugural CIIE. This year, the pavilion will bring 65 brands to the expo's Central and Eastern European Countries' Products Area, displaying both returning favorites — such as Bulgarian rose skincare and Slovak grape juice — and exciting new debuts, including Polish hand-painted ceramics, Albanian herbal essential oils, Romanian sunflower oil, and Hungarian chocolate with live DIY demonstrations.
The 2025 CIIE is set to break records, with 155 countries, regions, and international organizations represented, and 4,108 overseas enterprises participating, including 290 Fortune Global 500 companies and industry leaders. The exhibition area will exceed 430,000 square meters — the largest in the event's history.
