Rime ice turns Xiangshan mountains into fairytale

A breathtaking rime ice spectacle transformed the high-altitude mountains of Xizhou town in Xiangshan county, Ningbo, into a fairytale-like world on Jan 21.

Triggered by prolonged low temperatures, rime ice blanketed peaks such as Dongban Mountain and Mengding Mountain, with crystal-clear frost clinging to trees along the slopes. The shimmering scenery drew many visitors who made special trips to capture the winter wonderland.
