Ningbo is bringing its cultural charm and technological innovation to the 22nd China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair, held from May 21 to 25 in Shenzhen, Guangdong province.
A total of 13 key enterprises and institutions from Ningbo are participating in the Zhejiang exhibition area, making it the city with the largest number of exhibitors in Zhejiang province. Their displays span ancient book publishing, intangible cultural heritage, digital technology, trendy cultural products, and local specialties.
The Ningbo Pavilion is divided into three themed sections — cultural icons, digital culture, and cultural consumption — offering visitors an immersive experience of the city's rich cultural heritage and creative vitality.
In the cultural section, Ningbo Publishing House and Tianyige Museum are showcasing rare ancient texts. Visitors can also explore digital platforms to virtually browse ancient books and watch documentaries on traditional book restoration.
Technology takes center stage in the digital culture zone, where Ningbo companies are presenting advanced MR glasses, VR recreations of ancient Ningbo, and virtual tours of Tianyige. Zhejiang Dafeng Industry is also unveiling intelligent stage technologies and robotic products.
Meanwhile, creative products, traditional Ningbo snacks, and hands-on intangible heritage experiences bring a lively touch to the exhibition, highlighting the city's growing cultural and creative industries.
