Kim Young-hoon, professor at Myongji University and chairman of the South Korea-China General Chamber of Commerce, praised Ningbo's cultural depth and vibrant urban character during a business and cultural forum in Seoul, saying he hopes to deepen cultural exchanges between South Korea and the Chinese city.

Speaking at the Global Zhejiang Entrepreneurs New Quality Productive Forces Development Conference held on May 18 in Seoul, Kim said he has visited Ningbo three times and remains deeply impressed by the city's Jiangnan charm, cultural heritage, and everyday vitality.

After touring exhibition spaces themed "One-Meter Space" and "Ningbo in Light and Shadow", Kim said he was struck by the strong cultural atmosphere throughout the venue. He noted the diversity of cultural products on display and said the experience felt fresh and engaging, offering a vivid overview of Ningbo's intangible cultural heritage and local traditions.

Kim also highlighted his close ties with Zhang Yibo, chairman of the South Korea Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce, saying they maintain frequent exchanges. He expressed hope that, through Zhang, cultural cooperation and exchange with Ningbo could be further strengthened.

He encouraged South Korean audiences to visit China, especially Ningbo, describing it as a destination where historical depth meets modern urban vitality and one that is well worth exploring more closely.
