The 2026 Global Export Trade Fair (Ningbo) concluded on May 29, drawing more than 105,000 professional visitors over three days.
Held simultaneously in Ningbo and Yuyao, the expo spanned over 90,000 square meters and brought together more than 3,000 manufacturers, e-commerce platforms, and service providers from across China.
Now in its fifth year, the event has grown into one of the country's most influential cross-border e-commerce exhibitions, leveraging Ningbo's strengths in manufacturing, foreign trade, and port logistics. This year, 83 percent of exhibitors were source factories, showcasing everything from home appliances and outdoor gear to consumer electronics and household goods.
Innovation took center stage at the event. Among the highlights was an AI-powered range hood capable of detecting cooking fumes and air pollutants, while a portable sonic electric toothbrush featuring traditional Chinese paper-cut designs attracted strong interest from overseas buyers.
The expo also expanded its global reach, attracting buyers from countries including South Korea, Thailand, Russia, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Ukraine. A Dubai sub-venue was launched for the first time, enabling real-time online negotiations between exhibitors and Middle Eastern buyers. Intended transaction value reached approximately $50 million.
Beyond product sourcing, the event showcased a thriving cross-border e-commerce ecosystem, featuring major cross-border e-commerce platforms, logistics providers, and AI-driven service companies.
