Direct passenger flights between Ningbo and Seoul will resume on Aug 1, restoring an air link that has been suspended since 2021 and significantly reducing travel time between the two cities.
According to Ningbo Lishe International Airport's border inspection authorities, South Korea's Eastar Jet will operate the route twice weekly, with flights scheduled every Tuesday and Saturday.
Flight ZE8571 will depart from Seoul's Incheon International Airport at 1:30 pm local time and arrive in Ningbo at 3 pm. The return service, ZE8572, will leave Ningbo at 3:55 pm and arrive in Seoul at 6:55 pm local time.
The flight takes about two to two and a half hours each way.
Previously, travelers from Ningbo to Seoul had to transfer in cities such as Shanghai, Qingdao, or Hong Kong, with total journey times ranging from six to eight hours.
Tickets are now available through Eastar Jet's official channels and major booking platforms.
