Ningbo has added a second zone to its national-level advertising industrial park after China's State Administration for Market Regulation approved the designation of the Ningbo Minhe Digital Advertising Industrial Park as the Minhe Zone of the Ningbo National Advertising Industrial Park.
Located in Ningbo National Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone, the park covers more than 150,000 square meters and has previously been recognized as a national cultural industry demonstration base, a national technology business incubator and a Zhejiang livestreaming e-commerce base. The new designation is expected to attract leading advertising and digital marketing companies while helping retain local businesses and draw industry resources from China's major cities.
The park has been focusing on digital advertising in recent years, promoting cross-sector integration through its "advertising+" initiatives. By the end of June, it had introduced 35 new advertising and related enterprises.
To support innovation, the park offers tailored services for each business, financing assistance, rental subsidies and incentives for technology-driven enterprises. It has also launched a dedicated support program to help young entrepreneurial teams with housing, education and other practical needs.
The park generated 4.88 billion yuan ($720.95 million) in revenue in 2025, up 72.3 percent year-on-year.
Ningbo's advertising industry has also maintained strong momentum. In 2025, the city's advertising enterprises above designated size recorded combined revenue of 39.66 billion yuan, a 34.9 percent increase from a year earlier.
