The 2026 Ningbo Home Appliance Expo opened on Aug 5 at the Ningbo International Convention and Exhibition Center, bringing together leading manufacturers from across China and buyers from around the world.
Buyers from 56 countries pre-registered, overseas registrations soared 1,000 percent compared with the previous edition, and the proportion of purchasing delegations from Europe, ASEAN, Africa, and Latin American emerging markets increased significantly.
More than just a product showcase, the expo gathers manufacturers from major industrial clusters nationwide alongside Ningbo's leading brands. Exhibits cover everything from traditional home appliances to smart kitchen products, personal care devices, and other high-demand consumer electronics.
Ningbo's world-class manufacturing base provides strong support for the event, with the city home to over 3,200 appliance manufacturers and more than 15,000 supporting suppliers, forming a highly efficient industrial ecosystem. Today, one in every three household ice makers, heaters, and air fryers sold worldwide is made in Ningbo.
To help businesses seize overseas opportunities, the expo combines product displays with factory visits, business matchmaking, and cross-border e-commerce forums. This integrated platform enables buyers to inspect factories, discuss customized products, and place orders, helping Chinese manufacturers respond more quickly to evolving global demand while strengthening their presence in international markets.
