Over 7,700 Zhejiang firms to attend Canton Fair
More than 7,700 companies from Zhejiang province will participate in the 140th China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, scheduled for Oct 15 to Nov 4 in Guangzhou.
Delegations from Zhejiang, Ningbo, and Hangzhou have secured more than 17,000 booths, accounting for over 23 percent of all booths in the fair's export exhibition. These include more than 4,900 brand booths, roughly one-third of the national total.
According to an official with Zhejiang's trade delegation, the participating companies recorded exports of 582 billion yuan ($86.84 billion) in the first eight months of 2026, accounting for 25.2 percent of the province's general trade exports.
Technology companies including Deep Robotics, BrainCo, and Boling Brain-Computer will showcase robots, brain-computer interface technologies, and products powered by large AI models as they seek to expand overseas.
Zhejiang will also establish a 135-square-meter trade and investment services area at the fair, showcasing services such as overseas warehousing and support offered through overseas economic and trade cooperation zones.
